When you make your first purchase of a mini pocket rocket, you will want to make sure that you know how to properly start the bike. If you have purchased a pull start mini pocket rocket then first you want to straddle your bike and stand it up, look to the right side and locate the pull cord. On the bike you will find what is called a choke lever, this needs to be set on the closed position in order to start the bike. Now, slowly pull the cord out until you reach its maximum length then repeat 2 or 3 more times. After pulling the cord slowly, you will want to pull the cord straight out, avoiding an angle, with a strong, fast tug. You may need to repeat the two pulling steps a couple times as it is a new bike but after the bike has been broken in you should only need to do these steps once. Let the Bike warm up for a minute after it has started then move the choke lever back to the open position.

The correct way to start an electric start bike is very similar. If your bike has come with a key then you will want to insert it first, turning it clockwise. Next you will want to locate the choke lever and put it in the closed position. Then find your brake lever and push it in, and push the start button. After letting the bike run and warm up for a minute or so, go ahead and turn the choke lever back to the open position. Finally, all you need to do is hop on your mini pocket rocket and have a great time.
