Mini Street Bikes Are Not Street Bikes

Mini street bikes are a type of mini pocket rocket bikes that are replicas of full sized street bikes. The thing is that many people think that because they are called mini street bikes they are street legal, meaning it is legal to ride the bikes on the street with the cars. However, mini street bikes are not street legal bikes at all.

Mini pocket rocket bikes on the whole are not legal to be ridden on the streets. This is for the safety of the riders of the mini bikes. There is no way that they can be seen by somebody driving in a car or a truck that comes up on them or if they needed to change lanes in front of them.

The fact that mini pocket rocket bikes aren’t street legal has little or nothing to do with the fact that they can’t keep up with the traffic. Some of the high powered mini pocket rocket bikes and super pocket bikes can ride in excess of 65 miles per hour, the common speed limit on the highways in most states.

Mini pocket rocket bikes are supposed to be used for racing or off road fun. They are not designed as street bikes and they won’t ever be designed as street bikes as long as they aren’t street legal. It is unlikely that they will ever be street legal because of the safety issues involved.

A lot of people who live in neighborhoods that don’t have a lot of traffic on their roads ride their mini pocket rocket bikes for fun in the streets. The neighbors don’t seem to mind that the bikes are being ridden in the streets until they nearly run over one when they come around the curve. If you are going to do this, you should have an orange flag attached to a three or four foot pole attached to the bike so that people in cars will be able to spot you before it is too late. Be sure to take your child with you so that he or she can be fitted by an expert.

No matter where you decide to ride your mini pocket rocket bike, whether it is in a place it is intended or on the street, you do need to be aware that these are not toys and can cause some damage to you if you don’t follow proper safety precautions.
